“Go Be Great” Culinary Camp
“Go Be Great Culinary Camp” will be a combination of education and fun. The driving force begins with a passion for food and quality ingredients. The focus, however, will be on food safety, proper food handling, sanitation, kitchen safety, knife skills, understanding recipes, herb/spice identification, cooking techniques, time management, and of course creativity. Whether these young cooks decide to pursue a career in the culinary field or not, this will be an experience that will develop skills that these kids can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Date: Wednesday & Thursday, March 26 -27, 2025
TIme: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Grades: 6th - 12th
Limit: 30 students
Check-In: 15 minutes before camp
Registration Fee: $40, although we wish that every child enjoys this great opportunity. If the fees limit your child’s attendance, please mark the Scholarship box on the registration form with no questions asked.

- Each participant will take the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association training and receive their Oregon State Food Handlers card as part of this event. Each camper should bring their school issued laptop for this portion.
- Please let us know if your child will not be able to attend.
- No need to bring anything special for Camp.
- Parents can drop off kids.
- If you are bringing water, please bring a reusable/canteen type. Make sure their name is on it. No Plastic Bottles please.
- Medications can be left at First Aid Station
- Due to our Insurance and Foundation criteria, only kids in 6th – 12th grades will be allowed at this Camp. Thank you for your understanding.
