Camp Director: Karly Mingus – McMinnville High School (Head Coach Women’s Soccer)

General Information

“Go Be Great” Soccer Camp is designed to be an all-encompassing experience that allows players to improve their skills while developing a deeper understanding and appreciation for the game of soccer. The camp will provide athletes with a focus not only on individual skills, such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, but also on enhancing their tactical knowledge of soccer.

The emphasis on strategy means that campers will gain insights into game plans, positioning, and how to read the flow of a match. They’ll learn about team dynamics, the importance of communication on the field, and how to anticipate opponents’ moves. This strategic component will help players make smarter decisions during games, improving their ability to work as a cohesive unit.

The camp is open to kids of all ages and skill levels, making it a perfect opportunity for beginners who are just starting to explore soccer as well as for more advanced players looking to refine their techniques and learn more about the nuances of the game. The camp’s structured environment will ensure that everyone, regardless of experience, will feel challenged and supported.

With a fun and informative approach, campers will not only improve their physical skills but will also gain a greater love for the sport by seeing it from both a technical and tactical perspective. Through engaging drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities, “Go Be Great” Soccer Camp will provide young athletes with the tools they need to succeed on the field and become more confident, strategic players.
