Disc Golf Camp

Camp Director: Matt Merrit

General Information

The “Go Be Great” Disc Golf Camp is designed to offer an engaging experience that goes beyond the basics of disc golf. It caters to children of all ages and skill levels, providing an environment where both newcomers and more experienced players can thrive. The camp emphasizes a balanced approach to skill-building, ensuring that campers not only improve their technical abilities on the course but also cultivate essential life skills.

One of the core components of the camp is teaching the fundamental techniques of disc golf, including proper throwing mechanics, accuracy, and distance control. Coaches provide personalized instruction to help each participant improve their throwing form and consistency, whether they are learning how to throw their first disc or fine-tuning their technique. In addition to physical skills, campers are introduced to important strategies for navigating a disc golf course, such as shot selection, course management, and how to approach different hole layouts.

Ultimately, the “Go Be Great” Disc Golf Camp fosters a sense of purpose and determination in each camper, empowering them to pursue excellence, develop positive relationships, and approach every challenge with an enthusiastic mindset. It’s an opportunity to grow, learn, and—most importantly—believe in oneself, making the camp not only a memorable adventure but a truly life-changing experience.
